Decisões judiciais em um volume quatro vezes maior mostram que norma provoca corrida por cursos de especialização profissional.

A Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) está produzindo uma mudança de postura do mundo corporativo em relação à tratativa do assunto.

Nos últimos dois anos, após registrar um volume quatro vezes maior do tema nos tribunais de justiça, as empresas começaram a acelerar a busca por cursos e certificações profissionais que habilitem seus times para lidar de forma correta com a legislação.

Segundo dados revelados pela pesquisa Painel LGPD, em 2023, foram identificadas 1.206 ocasiões em que a lei foi citada na argumentação dos juízes, mostrando que esse número é 81% maior do que o registrado em 2022 e mais quatro vezes superior ao de 2021.

Segundo a sócia da DeServ, Academy, Fabiana da Silva, além da preocupação em evitar multas e outras penalidades aplicadas, o desejo de estar o mais rápido possível em conformidade com a LGPD se deve também ao receio de arranhões na imagem das marcas.

“São riscos de prejuízos tangíveis e intangíveis que têm transformado a necessidade de especialização no assunto em verdadeira prioridade nas estratégias empresariais”, diz Silva.

Além disso, de acordo com o CEO e Founder na DeServ, Thiago Guedes Pereira, “o mundo corporativo demanda por um volume sempre maior do que o existente de profissionais capacitados para lidar com os desafios da segurança cibernética”.

Diante disso, entende-se que a LGPD exige que as empresas notifiquem as autoridades, bem como os titulares em caso de violações de dados, o que acabará promovendo a transparência e uma ação imediata diante de incidentes de segurança.

Em vista disso, as medidas de segurança de dados não se trata apenas de uma exigência legal, mas também uma responsabilidade ética e prática.

Assim, a partir do momento que as empresas cumprem a legislação, ao investir na proteção adequada de dados pessoais, as organizações fortalecem a confiança dos clientes, evitando danos à reputação do negócio.
